Some of Devon's young choirs came together for a day of workshops with renowned choral leader and composer, Alexander L'Estrange in March.

A busy day of learning Alexander's piece 'Zadok Rules Hallelujah' (to an impressively high standard) was followed by an evening concert where the choirs shared some of their own repetoire too.

The choirs shared the programme with the Colyton Grammar Chamber Choir, led by David House, as well as Schola Exe led by Rachel Smith. All in all, it was a wonderful concert, and one audience member contacted DMEH afterwards to say, "it was truly remarkable, and a testament to just what can be achieved when people come together and put their voices and their hearts into making something special". Hear hear!
